  1. It would be humiliating. Having to lie there while the better warrior refuses to spill your blood. Mercy is the mark of a great warrior.

Guess I’m just a good warrior.

    Well, I’m all right.

    1. 😁

  2. Is that blade still yellow hot from stopping the fireballs?

If so, there should be another “sizzle” happening right now.

    1. good point! updated with an “sssss” thank you!

  3. That hot sword really should leave a forever burn mark on Eritha’s throat.

    1. it sure will, but I’m sure she will hire a top tier cleric to remove or at least mask it.

  4. go on, twitch. I dare ya!

    1. πŸ˜„go ahead, make my day…

  5. Tirin used Fairy Dust to send Eritha some bad dreams for the night.

    1. πŸ˜„at the very least fairy-dust-sinusitis!

  6. Called it on the “Pixie to the Face” trick πŸ™‚

    1. you did! πŸ‘

  7. Something tells me, someone will cry “Foul!” over that move (at least three contenders, four if you count the bug-weapon itself πŸ˜› )

    1. Nahhh, shouldn’t think so. If it’s in the arena, then it’s fair use in the fight. Eritha used arena sand in her spell against Tirin. The pixie commentator is also part of the arena, so fair use as a physical weapon. At least, if there is a protest, that will be the official call.

      1. Remember: TirTeen isn’t allowed to use any magic, would the loudmouth bug count as ‘magic’?
Didn’t say anyone would take any notice of the complaint, but we are talking about Zitface and her mentor, both have a serious grudge (for different reasons) against TirTeen

        1. Indeed, she and her master could definitely appeal, but I think the Queen will rule fair play

        2. TirTeen isn’t allowed to “use” magic, specifically cast a spell or otherwise generate magic effects from one’s self. Wielding a magic sword was already adjudicated as fair play. Throwing a magic being into the opponent’s face isn’t “using” magic and should also be adjudicated fair play. (The Pixie’s new name should be “Sandy.”) I don’t recall the exact rules, but was anything said that would prevent Eritha from taking the sword (good luck with that!) and wielding it against TirTeen?
Just noticed: prior page, chapter 25, p11, panel 4 should it read “Alas. Magic is just too powerful to _be_ overcome by a warrior.”?
Thank you for creating and sharing Merceneiress.

        3. Indeed and excellent point regarding the diaglogue — I’ve modified page 11 panel 4 dialogue a bit. Thank you as always!!

      2. πŸ˜πŸ‘
