Well it might be she inherited it from the mix of her mother and fathers genes. She seems to be a bit higher level than Mistress Bitchlock thought a mongrel could be. Now we just hope that the rest of the Grand Plan works as well seeing as how our fearless foursome is unaware that there is a telepath in the mix.

@Dragonrider: well-summarized --- Mistress is a bit too patronizing towards what she perceives as a lost cause or at most, a minimal ability to grasp magic.

Green Horns Sometimes even the new Green Horns have more power than the Masters do,and they have yet to understand it.
Merceneiress October 27th, 2018, 12:28 am
@stormbringer77: Indeed, Mistress should not underestimate a greenhorn just because they are not "pure" blood.

Seems Little T is getting some sort of power boost from her connection to Big T. That, or the Dowager of the Irreverent Vulgate in Unrent Veils is learning that her sadistic approach had side effects.
Merceneiress October 27th, 2018, 12:29 am
@Ganurath: Yes, the sadistic pleasure she enjoyed may have backfired somewhat.

Yups, temper your tantrums and control them, don't let them control you, or you may burn off more than just your eyelashes!

Grab the gun in the child's hand and pull it toward you as you try to safe the situation. Ri-i-i-ght.
No unloaded, and none with the safety set is truly safed. Salock has gotten careless in her too-long held power.

@E Hines: Bitchlock only knew what it was after it went off in her face
We (the reader's) don't know what Lil Tir was supposed to manifest, just that it wasn't what she did, there is no way she would have been as calm about it (well, calm before it blew)
E Hines (Guest) October 26th, 2018, 12:35 pm
@Guesticus: Yeah--Salock ass-u-me-d a "safe" situation really was safe.
As to her immediate post-event reaction, lots of folks don't get the shakes until well after the personally threatening situation has been resolved.
Our host has done good with this event depiction.

@E Hines: specially enjoying the singed hair, eyebrow and eyelashes :D
Merceneiress October 27th, 2018, 12:34 am
@Guesticus: Glad you enjoyed the smoking effect! That is definitely what I wanted to convey (singed hair, brow, and lashes!)
Merceneiress October 27th, 2018, 12:33 am
@E Hines: You got it --- Salock definitely assumed and almost paid for it with her life. That's how I imagined someone like Salock would immediately react after an unexpected event -- the shock doesn't hit til later (not that I have any experience with having a magic fireball blasted in my face).

Timelines I am not understanding how the younger Tirin knows magic but the older one does not assuming they are of the same timeline. Also how is it the older Tirin has no memories of past events of the younger Tirin and had to have past events explained to her by the female timelord? If they are the same person (young Tirin/old Tirin), how is it the older Tirin does not know how all of her plans against the emperor play out?
Guesticus (Guest) October 26th, 2018, 11:54 am
@kel: PeeTee does not know what Lil Tirin knows, because PeeTee comes from a timeline where her dad died (she went back in time and saved him, thus creating a Time Anomaly and two Tirin's alive at the same time)
... will stop making things more confusing and let someone more intelligent explain it
Merceneiress October 26th, 2018, 4:10 pm
@kel: As you may recall, starting with CHAPTER 12, PAGE 39, older Tirin was able to see all memories of little Tirin up until Chapter Entr'acte. On ENTR'ACTE PAGE 9 we see that older Tirin is having trouble with seeing lil' Tirin's memories --- she only gets glimpses (like when lil' Tirin appeared to be suffering). Ever since Tirin's father was not killed by Flin, lil' Tirin and older Tirin's timelines began to diverge, which would eventually lead to the two Tirins to be independent separate entities with their own timelines. Now, that doesn't mean they still can't share some experiences/memories, just not ALL experiences/memories. On this page, we just learned that Lil' Tirin has gained magical abilities with the help of Mistress Salock. Who's to say older Tirin won't be able to use magic too? Tune in to find out!
Guesticus (Guest) October 26th, 2018, 8:23 pm
@Merceneiress: PeeTee has the potential for magicks, butt, like with Lil Tir, she would require her potential to be giving some sort of a push or a kickstart (obviously not from Bitchlock)
Merceneiress October 27th, 2018, 12:34 am
@Guesticus: Mm-hmm...
