Slave Boy does not seem to be pleased by the recent turn of events.
Merceneiress October 5th, 2018, 8:59 am
@Ganurath: Jarety is indeed Dabney's personal slave and yes, not too pleased.
Dragonrider October 4th, 2018, 11:18 pm
why do I think she has no intention of seducing the Emperor. Note that does not mean she won't screw him royally. They seem to forget the second of Bitchlocks toys, a mistake they shouldn't make, take him along and make him do the knife work. Actually take a page from history and do a penectomy but keep him down until he bleeds out and then shove it so far down his throat it takes surgery to recover it. Who has the time spice during this episode?
Guesticus (Guest) October 5th, 2018, 6:05 am
@Dragonrider: that guy cringing? Is Dabs' personal slave
E Hines (Guest) October 5th, 2018, 7:26 am
@Guesticus: That's what we've been led to believe. Might be true. Might be another plant. In any event, he's no Spartacus; his loyalty will disappear, at the latest, when Salock begins asking him questions.
He's heard too much; best to take him with them, at least as far as the temporal equivalent of a desert island, or to dispatch him.

@E Hines: he seemed to stay loyal for over 12 years, have no reason to start doubting it now
E Hines (Guest) October 5th, 2018, 8:55 am
@Guest: Deeply planted mole. How long had ol' Max been there?
Eric Hines

@E Hines: Agree that one thing's for certain, Jarety knows too much now...
Guesticus (Guest) October 6th, 2018, 5:37 am
@E Hines: Maxi was probably only part of the massage team, only Jarety is Dabs' personal slave
Dragonrider October 5th, 2018, 8:01 pm
@E Hines:Doubt Dabney would go for a sliced throat strand him 2 million miles from no where until Abby kills bitchlock then bring him and Dabs back and kill Max.

I appreciate a fair amount of poetic justice and creative vengeance in a story, but wouldn't it be far easier to just kill the guy? How can turning the emperor into an eunuch solve anything? We've already seen how easily the result can be remedied with advanced medical tech.
Guesticus (Guest) October 5th, 2018, 6:06 am
@ems: why not both? o_O
E Hines (Guest) October 5th, 2018, 7:34 am
@Guesticus: Indeed. What's the point of punishment if the punishee doesn't live to...enjoy...it? Only instead of castration, I'd render him impotent.
Let him fail with his concubines a few times; that'll quickly become palace gossip. Let him live in that for as long as may be. If security is a problem our ladies always can get to him again and kill him tomorrow. After all, as a man said, sort of, in another time line, "Eat, drink, and fail to get it up, and then live the humiliation again. For tomorrow we die."
Eric Hines
Guesticus (Guest) October 5th, 2018, 8:49 am
@E Hines: if they can reattach it (and make it more potent in size and performance), do you think impotence would work?
As the great Shaka once said: "Kill the dog while it is at your feet, least it return like a jackal and go for your throat!"
E Hines (Guest) October 5th, 2018, 1:58 pm
@Guesticus: Impotence often is a mental state. And those nanos can be hard to find and disarm. Especially if they don't exist, and the impotence was done with operant conditioning. Either the old fashioned way or with nanos that go away after having set the mental state.
All they can do then is implant what would functionally be a dildo--and wouldn't that make for interesting palace gossip?
And if that...falls apart...they still can come back tomorrow and kill him dead.

@E Hines: They reattached the ding dong once but he wasn't satisfied with it. Time warp reeducation and return him to place where he looses interest in his conquest ideas.
Merceneiress October 5th, 2018, 8:56 am
@ems: Tirin is thinking that even if she kills the emperor, there will be another to take his place -- someone just as bad, like his son. She's thinking it may be better to have someone powerful in your pocket than not (although riskier too if you can't control him). One can also be "castrated" figuratively with blackmail...
E Hines (Guest) October 5th, 2018, 9:43 pm
@Merceneiress: Yeah, but the blackmailee is always scheming, and he becomes inured to the fear, which frees his scheming.
Blackmail is a useful tool, but it shouldn't be used in isolation.
Better to pair it with some extortion.
And remain alert to the inevitable breakout attempts, especially since there's all the time in all the worlds to keep trying.
Eric Hines
Guesticus (Guest) October 6th, 2018, 6:57 am
@E Hines: yups, blackmail only works until the blackmailee stops being afraid of the information being released, and then it's the blackmailer who is left impotent and powerless
Guesticus (Guest) October 5th, 2018, 6:16 am
What the bleeding hael did Mirby and PeeTee expect to happen after Bitchlock's favourite 'pet' never showed up again for work?
And you bet damn sure she had a way to track Abby through time to make sure she never 'accidentally' found her way back to Mirror. Or at least something to let her know she blipped out of time
