Proper order Um, kill him first, THEN taunt his body. You give him too much time to think of a cheesy escape, otherwise.
Ganurath (Guest) April 20th, 2018, 1:01 am
Sounds like the Tirinites have organized a massive ambush uprising thing, and we're seeing just one of myriad ambushes.
Dragonrider April 20th, 2018, 4:52 am
How many times have I killed thee? Combined we do not have enough fingers and toes to express the ways.
Darnalak (Guest) April 20th, 2018, 8:19 am
HAH! Tirin has her own religion... Heh, I'd like to say she'd be proud, but she'd probably be mortified.
Guesticus (Guest) April 20th, 2018, 9:26 am
@Darnalak: no, sounds more like family, Sariel said "Not just sympathetic. Related."
Speedy (Guest) May 24th, 2019, 12:50 pm
@Darnalak: Tirin does remind me of Frigg Akerfeldt, from Guilded Age. Except Tirin doesn't have quite as short of a fuse as Frigg's.
awhorl (Guest) April 20th, 2018, 3:27 pm
No mercy. Not only does he sneer, but he doesn't redeem his superiority complex by using elitist grammar. As I said, show him no mercy.
awhorl (Guest) April 20th, 2018, 3:33 pm
Shall I guess that he will try to evade the blade by jumping into the rabbit hole with Tirin and Abby? At which point it will either close, or she will follow him--and I sure hope it's the latter. Next up: Battle in the Blender!
Lurker314 (Guest) April 20th, 2018, 7:06 pm
Shame I got distracted and missed the update--that first comment is mine. "Your plan works just fine if your enemy does not know what it is. NEVER GLOAT. If for some reason you must explain your plans, do it exclusively over dead bodies".
Merceneiress April 20th, 2018, 8:29 pm
@Lurker314: True - if a cheesy escape was in the plot, it would happen during the monologue...

@awhorl: he is definitely thinking of dropping down the vortex, but it would suck him in the direction of Sariel's sword, so he might decapitate himself --- although your suggestion of a battle in the blender is an intriguing one...

@Guesticus and @Darnalak: you're both right --- related and religious too -- similar to Chinese patriarchal religion or Chinese ancestor veneration.

@Dragonrider: Indeed - especially when counting the multiple generations and dimensions...

@Ganurath: Yes, we're seeing the last --- they've carried out ambushes in other dimensions and this one is the last one...
Guesticus (Guest) April 21st, 2018, 7:38 am
Hmm, wondering if the related and religious are separate: Lil Tir is the Related (with her slave) and Tirin is the Religious
Or maybe even the other way around: Lil Tir founded the Religion after taken over the Vay Throne (by blood {her mother} and blood {Bitchlock's}), and Tirin had a kid with Mirby (magic, it happens)
awhorl (Guest) April 21st, 2018, 6:03 pm
@Guesticus: Lil Tir's dad is still around in some dimension or other. There could be cousins Dedicated to the Perpetuation of Tiriny. Somehow that came out wrong.
Guesticus (Guest) April 21st, 2018, 11:05 pm
@awhorl: right, forgot Lil Tir's dad was still around, and her aunt was eyeing him up
ems (Guest) April 23rd, 2018, 8:14 am
The glorious moment when you outFOOZ ( and outwit ) your opponent...
Guesticus (Guest) April 24th, 2018, 1:55 am
@ems: she "FOUZ"ed when he "FOOZ"ed :D
Also, her 'sword' is bigger than his 'sword' :P
E Hines (Guest) April 24th, 2018, 9:52 am
@Guesticus: He just brought a knife to a sword fight. Thus, her sword's appearance has a more robust appearance sound.
Besides, she's plainly a better man than he.

@E Hines: just as long as it's not a spoon :P
