Crap! Dabs forgot about that, hope Lil Tir can answer that :D

Good to see Shoulder Elf (Shelf?) again :)

@Guesticus: I suspect pointing out the fresh vacancy in the mirror would buy some time.
Guesticus (Guest) March 3rd, 2018, 4:42 am
@Ganurath: umm, only if Dabs plans on betraying Mirby and the Tirin's: remember, Granny Badness split Mirror and Abby on purpose as punishment, what do you think she will do once she discovers they have re-integrated and 'legged it' out of the mirror-prison? o_O
Ganurath (Guest) March 3rd, 2018, 4:52 pm
@Guesticus: Jack all? Dabs can feign ignorance to the circumstances of the vacancy, and that she came through to give Granny Goodness the FYI.

Shame the invotive never came about, butt at least we get to see Tirin's butt :P

Billy just knows that a serious palace revolution is underway. With magic and fire.

Thanx for reminding me who that was. Saved me from asking dumb questions. Do hope in this universe, time line Oscar is alive and bitching, he and the Keebler Elf you want to eat would make an interesting family, can see her domesticating Oscar and having a bunch of pointy eared silver elflets running wild bothering hell out of everything bet they could even make a Snow Tiger their pet.

On a story note Queenie Poo gonna be verra verra unhappy her pet mirror slave isn't. Even worse she's gonna be a pain that Preparation H won't touch, and a rather large railroad spike in Quennies Right Hand, bet Yrtai and Dabney are friends from way back, and Somehow I think the new Queen is present in today's episode.
Guesticus (Guest) March 3rd, 2018, 7:05 pm
@Dragonrider: fairly sure Mirror was Granny's slave

@Ganurath: except, with Lil Tir and Billy alive and well, Dabs is supposed to be dead, or at least being 'reset' like the female Sméagol and the sneck, not freely wandering around outside her enclosure

A whole lot of things have gone wrong, from the queen's perspective, if Dabney was able to come back through the mirror on her own.
Beginning, but not ending, with the remerge of the Lady in the Mirror with her other half.

@E Hineks: unless there has been a mini-coup, the Queen is not seen in this scene

Just reading up the updated Cast page: unless that foreign King reneged on the deal (and it didn't sound like he had), then Dabs should not have been punished: Kingie sounded grateful for what she did (even if it was manipulated and wasn't real), sounds to me it was simply an excuse to get a powerful magic-user out of the way, kinda like what happened with a young Abby...
Ganurath (Guest) March 6th, 2018, 2:04 am
@Guesticus: It wasn't about what she did to the foreign King, it was about what she didn't do for her own Queen: Obey her orders. She'd been ordered to have sex with the foreign king, and by using trickery to get around it she'd effectively refused her orders.
Guesticus (Guest) March 6th, 2018, 7:02 am
@Ganurath: thought she was ordered to seal the deal, and the reason why Dabs was ordered to do it instead of Queenie was because Kingie typically did it between the sheets
She was not ordered to sleep with Kingie, and she still managed to get the deal signed
Merceneiress March 6th, 2018, 8:38 am
@Ganurath and @Guesticus: That whole Dabney scene was supposed to be a Patreon incentive to explain how Dabney ended up serving her sentence, fighting challengers for various Vay trials --- it was indeed supposed to be Dabney impersonating the Queen to get the deal done between the sheets (because that's how the foreign King demanded it). All Vays detest any coital interactions with foreigners, especially the Queen. So poor Dabney was tasked with this part of the deal. Well, Dabney figured out a different way to seal it without the Queen or Mistress knowing --- until the King's message. Dabney was "punished" for defying Mistress and Queen's direct orders. She would have been executed if the deal ended up going sour...
Guesticus (Guest) March 6th, 2018, 10:08 am
@Merceneiress: so, Dabs was going to be screwed no matter what!
She figured out a way to seal the deal without performing an act the Vay detest, and got punished
If she had slept with Kingie, she would have been (quietly) condemned anyway (quietly because Queen and Granny could never allow the knowledge they tricked Kingie into signing the deal, bad enough he bragging to all the other foreign royalty that he banged the Vay Queen)

Bring on the Royal Coup! Pair of heads would look lovely on some pikes, and just happen to have some powder that will bring the heads 'back to life' for added fun

Technically, both Dabney and Tirin won their challenges.

Mirror decided that Billy was a challenger. (Verified by Salock) Dabney knocked Billy off the bridge, and he would have died, if he had not fallen into the mirror. So, even though Billy didn't die, he was defeated, giving Dabney her final victory.

Meanwhile, Tirin attacked Dabney, causing her to go into the mirror. That led to a series of events, which certainly would have caused Dabney's death, had Tirin not saved her life, by killing the last Slorn. So, Dabney was in fact defeated, but her life was spared by Tirin.
