Wow! Mirror looks so sad in panel three, when she recalled losing 'contact' with Abby ('anymore' should be two words by the way, it's like the difference between 'may be' and 'maybe')

Something is telling me, Abby's rejection of Mr. Talpha will directly or indirectly lead to her coming under the attention of the Slorn, but what ever it is, it won't be pleasant for her

@Guesticus: Yes, you are right -- thank you, will correct.

Can the "Grammar Police" take a day off.Keep your corrections in your head, like the rest of the world or sign-on as Official Proof-Reader. *JMPP*

@agedsage: I don't mind. I need someone to keep my grammar in check!
Sleel (Guest) May 29th, 2017, 9:53 pm
@agedsage: No one daring to put 'sage' in their name should be telling people to wallow in their craptacular ignorance. Especially with regards to something in print, either online, or maybe one day, in actual print. Errors are for correcting, not ignoring, or sadly, for some, having wallowed so deep in their ignorance, not even noticed.

@Sleel: was not a personal attack on anyone. As stated,it's a "pet-Peeve" of mine, correcting in a public form is a way some people try to prove their superiority over others. So, chill,if anyone finds a the Author directly @Merceneiress. That's all I was asking for.

@agedsage: I've noticed that most webcomic creators greatly appreciate comments with corrections for the comic. It saves them from the future embarrassment of noticing typos in the books they spent thousands of dollars having printed.

Correcting other commenters is a whole different story. Commenters come in a huge variety of ages, education levels, and native languages. It's ridiculous to expect everyone to know perfect English.

I try to never correct other commenters. I'm probably making a few errors myself, in this comment. x)

At most, if I'm replying to a commenter who has repeatedly made the same glaring error, I might work the correct English into my comment, and hope that they might notice the difference.

Edit: LOL! I noticed a spelling error in this comment, after I posted it. Engrish are hard!

@Speedy: Very good points.

Luckily for Mr Talpha, many people have gone on to live full and happy lives without their multi-appendix.
guest1 (Guest) May 29th, 2017, 10:33 am
@Dean: ?? are you being obvious, or are you being sassy??? cuz people can have more than one appendix.,, its rare but real.. i had 3 removed at once..
Merceneiress May 29th, 2017, 7:47 pm
@Dean: Indeed. One appendix serves no function, neither does the second, third or fourth.

@guest1: I have heard of "duplicate appendix" or "double" appendix, but I was not aware that some people could have more than 2 (on Earth anyways)! Good to know!
guest1 (Guest) May 30th, 2017, 12:20 am
@Merceneiress: hence rare,, and the 2nd became necrotic ,, was killing the first,, third was more like a polyp..

The ironic thing is, it's normally me telling grammar-grumps to 'cork it', but have found most author's appreciate being informed of possible errors, specially small typos like this one, it's turns of phrases or speech patterns that annoy them if 'corrected' (or maybe it's just me that gets annoyed, because most people don't 'talk proper')
Speedy (Guest) May 21st, 2019, 8:59 pm
@Guesticus: It's probably because the authors spend so much time trying to find the correct spelling for their characters' incorrect speech. It's hard to write wrong right. xD

Regarding the invotive: depends, is it a brothel, or a B&D Dungeon? o_O
Merceneiress June 1st, 2017, 9:06 pm
@Guesticus: Not sure. Only way to find out is to walk in...
Guesticus (Guest) June 2nd, 2017, 7:21 am
@Merceneiress: okay, then the safe word is 'Ow!' :P
