okay.. that's a resounding shut your lip boy.! just because he (Sampson) can speak don't mean you can!
Merceneiress October 1st, 2016, 3:32 pm
@rob, @Dragonrider, @Mark: yes, the shush of death, inspired by old school nuns, but in this situation they have much worse methods than a ruler to the knuckles!

@E Hines: I agree with you.

@Guesticus: I have been transitioning to a different way of rendering (Iray). You're right, her lips do look different --- like she just magically injected them with Saronian silicone. You really want to see Felina get a whuppin, huh? We'll see what's in store.
Dragonrider September 30th, 2016, 2:41 pm
That incentive just warms my heart. Last panel looks like Nuns at a Catholic School telling the Class Clown to be quiet during Mass.
Mark (Guest) September 30th, 2016, 6:38 pm
WOW!, I hope Billy survives the Shushing.
E Hines (Guest) October 1st, 2016, 7:11 am
Abby doesn't look silly at all.

Eric Hines
Guesticus (Guest) October 1st, 2016, 2:31 pm
@E Hines: Yups, Abby's bunny-kini looks way hotter than bunny-boy :P
Guesticus (Guest) October 1st, 2016, 2:28 pm
Did Sally's model get changed? Her lips look slightly different o_O

Really hoping that Lil Tirin survives and Felina was one of her stages, or at least comes back and punches her out!!
Peter (Guest) October 1st, 2016, 3:44 pm
It seems I keep saying the same thing, but... the comic looks fantastic once again. Yritai and little Tirin look great! as does the setting. Am I imagining things or does the comic keep getting more detailed / high res?

Dog guy, what language is that in which "smoking hot" is pronounced "silly"?
Merceneiress October 1st, 2016, 10:30 pm
@Peter: Good eye --- yes, the new rendering method (Iray) I am using is to try to get even better renders --- but it takes longer to render. I am aiming to stick with this style of rendering for now (as long as my computer doesn't meltdown). Haha, Dog guy keeps getting dogged (sorry, groan) for his comment.
Dragonrider October 1st, 2016, 10:39 pm
Edit note from Yritai's response to the Auntie added to her name think that Felina best keep her yap shut, and not try anything, else her soon to be expartner is gonna be right in line behind Tirin.

BTW what weapon did Tirin choose a Vibra Blade like before?
Guesticus (Guest) October 2nd, 2016, 2:20 am
The Battle Nuns can spank me any day ;)
There was an order of Nuns in "Gilded Age" (or still is, haven't read it in years) that have blades in their rulers

@Dragonrider: Yeah, was just coming back to comment on the "Auntie" bit: was that a happy gasp or a horrified slash shocked gasp?

The weapon kinda looks like a fancy sickle

@Merceneiress: not sure if you wrote Felina this way, but personally haven't liked her from the start, Sally is more likable than Felina (POO)
Dragonrider October 2nd, 2016, 4:17 am
@Guesticus: Think it was a combination between a happy she acknowledges she is my niece and an OMG she could get killed and she is all I have of my sister, how can I keep her safe.

Don't allow URLs in comments? I've offered two that have a link to Project Gutenberg.

My comments were that there's nothing wrong with Felina that some taming wouldn't cure, with a URL to The Taming of the Shrew.

@E Hines: Hmm, I didn't know comments don't allow URLs --- I just commented and put --- seems to be ok? Maybe just put in the resource name (like --- don't put in the "http" part?
Merceneiress October 2nd, 2016, 9:10 am
@E Hines: Hee hee, regarding Taming of the Shrew -- Felina would probably gut or slice any man who tried that kind of psychological warfare on her --- especially since men are considered slaves in Vay society. But another woman...maybe...
E Hines (Guest) October 2nd, 2016, 9:17 am
@Merceneiress: I don't think I left off the protocol. My first effort used HTML tags to embed the URL around the text "taming." My second effort just copied the URL from Gutenberg's Web page address field. Oh, well, that's not the most important thing in any of the Universes.

Regarding Felina, there are lots of human societies where the slave--or the concubine--gained control over the master. Felina can be subdued. Her overt aggressiveness reveals her insecurity and demonstrates her vulnerability.

I volunteer.

@E Hines: Haha! Love it!
Dragonrider October 2nd, 2016, 5:55 pm
@Merceneiress:I volunteer also, provided you have all her teeth pulled so she can't bite, her nails and toenails cut all the way to the quick she's in handcuffs, her legs hobbled a ball gag and I have a cattle prod, a taser, pepper spray and CN gas to use as foreplay.
Merceneiress October 2nd, 2016, 11:33 pm
@Dragonrider: Haha! Tell me how you really feel about her...
Guesticus (Guest) October 3rd, 2016, 12:39 am
@E Hines & Dragonrider: you can have her, not sure why anyone would
Dragonrider October 3rd, 2016, 8:27 am
@Guesticus: To satisfy our masochist cravings.
E Hines (Guest) October 4th, 2016, 6:35 am
@Dragonrider: Nothing masochistic about it. I have a domineering personality myself, and I love a challenge. And she'd be fun.

Both before and after, but especially after.

Eric Hines
Guesticus (Guest) October 4th, 2016, 10:18 am
@E Hines: Yeah, masochism is more 'self-inflicted' or 'inflected upon oneself', so unless you plan on letting Felina do things to you, then it's more likely 'sadism'
E Hines (Guest) October 4th, 2016, 11:44 am
@Guesticus: You're projecting.

Eric Hines
Guesticus (Guest) October 4th, 2016, 6:10 pm
@E Hines: don't believe so, was explaining the difference between the two, was not saying that either applied to you or Dragonrider
Karyl (Guest) October 3rd, 2016, 3:26 pm
Tiny typo issue--the mirror has ITS not IT'S own--this is a common typo issue for sure. Either way, I LOVE little Tirin's fire and her bravery. Your rendering is just the best!
Merceneiress October 3rd, 2016, 9:58 pm
@Karyl: You are absolutely right regarding the its/it's...will correct. Thanks re the rendering! Ever since I came back to Merceneiress, I have been slowly upgrading --- the program I use, the models, the computer system. A big change is switching from MAC to PC. The program I use, DAZStudio has a fantastic renderer called Iray, but it is partial to NVIDIA graphics cards, which MACs don't have. Therefore I decided to switch (also there are way more awesome videogames on PC).
Dragonrider October 4th, 2016, 3:15 pm
@Merceneiress: Also spell check on a PC insists most words that have an s added to the ending get the apostrophe added whether its correct grammatically or not.
Guesticus (Guest) October 5th, 2016, 8:07 am
Let this be a lesson for you Billy: don't waste time saying you need to tell them something, just tell them what you need to say, if you are concerned about time just say what is needed (ie "take the third left, and aim for the balls")
