OH My the incentive and the last panel Tirin. Breakfast, Lunch, a Royal Banquet dinner and Midnight Snack all rolled into two packages.
And on a totally unrelated side note how did she get a guardian? Since they are telepathic something has to know it's dead, how it died and where the body is.

@Dragonrider: When a Guardian or any of the "staff" die, they are brought to the morgue by the various robots like Sam. The Slorn are too high and mighty to care what happens to the dead, much to Tirin's delight...

As I remember correctly, the slorn did somehow convince Tirin, not enslave her. Actually, she saved the slorn (and the rest of the spacetime continuum). So her job is kinda service, but necessary.
This might be somehow frustrating, but anyway, I am quite surprised that she looks at the slorn as enemies ... ?!

@Weiser: Etrusillion (head Slorn) convinced Tirin to save her friends (and also her dad) by killing Flin (who was the one who inadvertently set off a chain of events that lead to the death of all the Slorn except for one (Etrusillion)). Killing Flin prevented this and therefore saved the Universe (because according to Etrusillion, without the Slorn, the universe would have destroyed itself). She was then recruited by Beau to work for the Slorn --- the other option would have been to be erased because she would have been a time anomaly. Therefore, she decided to work for the Slorn isolating herself with the other time enforcers, never able to interact with anyone else (so as to preserve the current time continuum) --- she really had no other choice, so it is a bit like slavery (work for the Slorn or die). Now she lives in a new continuum --- one where her Dad is alive and all of her friends like Wendy are still alive (even though she is only like 5 years old at this time). Only problem is she cannot interact with any of them now by Slorn decree. And you know Tirin --- "Screw that" she says. But how does she "screw that?" in her situation? Is it even possible? Yes, but it'll take time. So she plays the eager pleaser and obedient servant. So much so that the Slorn have allowed her quite a bit of leeway. But will Tirin's plans work? Or are the Slorn simply allowing this, ultimately knowing the eventual outcome and stop it when it happens?

More lovely Abby-pressions

POO, but Tirin won't care if she gets stopped, as long as she can kill Etrusillion

Tirin is being very thorough and methodical, and she's extremely competent. But at the other hand there are the Slorn, who manipulate time itself. Both are quite formidable and I wouldn't underestimate either. In any case it will be quite interesting to watch this whole affair unfold.

And speaking of watching; Tirin with her new look and wearing her fight suit... very nice :)

@Peter: 'New Tirin' is lovely to look at, but still liking the previous Tirin

Tirin has patience, and she also has lots of...time.

And, there are ways of communicating across timelines; if needs be, she can pass things along to Little Tirin, still.
