Ooh, plot thickens. Sniper is rather cute. Deadly, but cute :)

@Kheda: yes, agreed --- and she has a big role in future storyline.

@Dragonrider: Just when we thought they had escaped...

@Guesticus: Looks that way doesn't it? But you never know in this comic... ahh a Grrl power fan! she is cute indeed.
Dragonrider March 14th, 2016, 1:28 pm
@Kheda: Don't know kinda think the spotter wins the Miss Hottie contest here. Like to see her as a vote incentive.
Kheda (Guest) March 14th, 2016, 1:30 pm
@Dragonrider: lol what can i say, i'm a sucker for a pretty redhead :)
Dragonrider March 11th, 2016, 7:38 pm
OK out of the frying pan into the fire.
Guesticus (Guest) March 12th, 2016, 5:59 am
Aww shit! Papa still dies :(

@Kheda: not as cute as 1st Lt Peggy Kessler :P
Guesticus (Guest) March 13th, 2016, 9:45 pm
Forgot to mention: great attention to details by having her finger not on the trigger :D
Merceneiress March 15th, 2016, 9:18 pm
@Guesticus: Thanks!
@Peter: Really appreciate it! Flattered!!
@Karyl: Thanks! I like Dad, too. Can't promise anything, but will try to keep him alive as long as possible.
@Dragonrider: Good idea. Will work on this as a future incentive.
@Kheda: Indeed. Psst. Does she look like someone?
Guesticus (Guest) March 18th, 2016, 11:48 am
@Merceneiress: wait, you mean, who does she look like in the story?
She isn't Tirin's aunt, is she? o_O
Merceneiress March 18th, 2016, 6:31 pm
@Guesticus: You...are...good...
Peter (Guest) March 14th, 2016, 1:49 am
Yes, I like the sniper, a lot. I hope she will turn out to be on Tirin's side.

BTW, the sniper, her armor, everything looks great, this is one of the best web comics out there IMO.

I always enjoy your textures and hair details so much! thanks for all your quality work--please don't let dad die!

Strange gun I wonder what kind of projectile comes out of a squared barrel
Merceneiress March 18th, 2016, 6:37 pm
@podman: A square one? Or a laser. This was a great sniper model, but I agree, the squarish barrel is weird, which is why I used it (why not, who knows how projectile technology will change in the far future?)
Speedy (Guest) May 20th, 2019, 12:22 am
@Merceneiress: A guided projectile? The barrel doesn't need rifling, if it has wings that pop out for remote guidance. If the sniper and spotter are atop the next mountain, a couple of miles away, remote guidance would be handy. People and wind have and annoying habit of changing directions,

It could be a standard rifled barrel, though. The flash supressor might use the larger squarish hole to help direct the flare and gasses (that don't exit the side vents) in an X pattern, away from the field of view of the scope.

All of the above is just guesswork. I don't actually know what I'm talking about. xD
